station, this is the kron 4 news. >> we start with a daly city neighborhood that has been inundated with water & mud. jackie sissel these homes and cars are there any injuries? >> there are no injuries. you can see there have been neighborhood is trying to figure out what happened. the mud, the water that rushed down. aunt of break happened up there. if that is where-that water main- break happened up there-here is video from earlier. what we do know is a run for:a 30 the leaked c to run 430 -they started running down a run 4:30 and 80 homes were evacuated. -eight homes-were evacuated. perhaps the hillside behind it could cause a landslide. 40 people have been evacuated and it is impacting four square city blocks and 100 residents are without water. we got a chance to talk to the north county fire district spokesperson. he spoke about this, earlier. >> that is what we are going is to determine and assess the safety of the damage. in the hillside. there's no immediate threat. we wanted to get people to evacuate it did. just to keep them out of the area. >> what we are being told is t

begin this morning with the flooding in daly city where the clean up has begun. we have both nbc bay area's christie smith and bob redell redell with us. we start off with christie smith of the details and what happened. any clean up yet, christie? >> reporter: good morning. it has been a morning and a mess here in daly city. there are front loaders and vacuum trucks everywhere trying to deal with this mudslide. it started with a water pipe that broke off. i wanted to show you what it has done to the hillside this morning as a section came down bringing trees and debris right into the neighborhood. neighbors say it sounded like a storm. water rushing down the hillside along lusanne avenue carrying debris and trees trapping parked cars. it was just to the left of romero's home. >> i was not aware there was a tank up there. >> reporter: what do you think now that you know what happened? >> i'm guessing, you know, infrastructure might be getting old. >> reporter: the gap in the hillside shows where it came from. there is a 978,000 gallon water tank that was 3/4 full. >> it is an eight-i
tonight, the state's attorney's office is investigating a baltimore city police officer. >> he officer is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year- old female. we are joined live from city police headquarters for more details. >> officer elliott simon has been suspended without pay. it was reported to them over the weekend. >> i have to talk about a serious issue over allegations about an employee for the baltimore police department. >> the police commissioner described elliott simon as a 13 year veteran assigned to the northwest police district. police are not releasing his picture pending charges but they say they've received a complaint against him over the weekend, alleging he sexually assaulted an 18-year-old female. >> this agency is committed to upholding people accountable for misconduct. i have no tolerance for misconduct or offices that violate the public trust. >> the commissioner would not take any questions about the case. police are not releasing many details about the allegations. accept that simon was on duty at the time of the alleged assault and hit been susp
